What is the difference between the different kind of chain materials?

Sterling Silver
Sterling silver is a great option for those new to permanent jewelry. Sterling silver will eventually tarnish, however, you can follow aftercare for your jewelry for it to last you as long as possible.

Gold Filled
Gold-filled jewelry is jewelry composed of a solid layer of gold (typically constituting at least 5% of the item's total weight) mechanically bonded to a base of either sterling silver or some base metal. Most high-quality gold-filled pieces have the same appearance as high carat gold. Even with daily wear, can last 10 to 30 years though the layer of gold will eventually wear off exposing the metal underneath.

14k Gold is top of the line for permanent jewelry and has a lifetime value for the customer.

Question 2

What if I need to remove the jewelry?

Accepted Answer

You can simply cut the jump ring used to weld the chain together with a nail clipper or sharp scissors. Save it all in a safe place to be re-welded later.

What happens if my chain breaks?

Accepted Answer

Our chains are made of high-quality materials meant to resist everyday wear and tear, yet dainty enough to come off for safety's sake. Permanent jewelry does not mean indestructible jewelry, it just means the piece is clasp-less. Any piece of jewelry is susceptible to damage when met with opposing force. If your piece gets snagged or it breaks, we will do our best to repair it for you at a $10 service fee. Please note, we do not replace or reimburse you for lost chains.

Do you charge for a re-weld?

I offer complimentary re-welding to your piece within one month of purchase. After the 30 days, there is a $10 service fee to re-weld your piece as long as your chain is still in great condition.

Question 5

Who should not get permanent jewelry?

Accepted Answer

Those with pacemakers should not get permanent jewelry because of the welding process.
Allergies to solid gold, sterling silver, and gold fill are rare, but those with allergies should not get permanent jewelry.

Question 6

Is there any aftercare?

Accepted Answer

14KT chain and gemstones require no cleaning, care or maintenance. Keep out of heavily chlorinated pools as much as possible. Chlorine can deteriorate the structure of the gold. 
Take care to keep gold filled chains away from perfume, lotions, aerosols as much as possible. After time the gold bond over the Brass will begin to wear down and avoiding products will prolong the life of your jewelry. 
If your permanent piece seems need a little more shine; we recommend a gentle scrub with blue Dawn dish soap with a soft brush to remove any product build up that may accumulate.

Can I return/refund my permanent jewelry?
